So, today’s tool is FreshBooks. This is for freelancers, small agencies. Essentially, it is an accounting software that makes running your small business easy.
I’ve been using it for about four years, as referred to by my marketing buddy Alex Wall—you guys can check her out as well. But essentially, it’s really, really easy to use. The main reason I like this platform is one, it integrates really, really well with Stripe and other payment gateways, so, you get your money, pretty fast.
Also has easy invoicing, so it takes a few seconds to set up an invoice, send it to a client, you can put clients on auto-pay, you can set up all of your expenses to actually link to your debit and credit card.
So, for me, we use the Amex business card, we run all of our transactions and all of our expenses through that, and it’s automatically linked to our FreshBooks account. So, those expenses automatically get pulled and added to expense reports on a monthly basis.
It’s an amazing platform. One of the biggest benefits is their customer support, you can literally call the 1800 number and within seconds be linked to a customer service rep. That’s probably one of my favorite features with FreshBooks.
Also, the user interface and UX for their platform is really easy to use. Check it out, guys. I implore you to start using it. They have a mobile app as well, so you can take pictures of receipts at business dinners and lunches.
I’m just a huge fan of it. I’ve used QuickBooks before, and another competitor: Wave Accounting, I’ve also heard great things. But I’m just so acclimated and in love with FreshBooks that I highly recommend it to you guys. Hope this helps in your endeavors and on your journey, and we’ll talk soon.
